We secured funding via Duke-UNICEF accelerator program that will not only enable us to install baby changing facilities in public toilets in Nairobi but scale our organization and impact

After attending the 2018 Women and Transport Africa conference, I was inspired to take action towards advancing social justice in public transportation. After the Conference, I convened the Socially Just Public Transport Working Group with the support of FES-Kenya, which brings together diverse stakeholders to address critical issues of equity and accessibility within our transportation systems. The working group developed the socially just public transport principles. Read about the principles here
